- Can Kuwaiti citizens get an e-Visa for India?
- Yes, India launched e-Visa services for Kuwaiti citizens in July 2025. You can apply entirely online without visiting an embassy. The e-Visa covers tourism, business, medical, and conference purposes.
- How long does the India e-Visa take to process?
- Most e-Visa applications are processed within 3–4 working days. You will receive the approved e-Visa via email. Print it and carry it with your passport when traveling.
- What is the India tourist visa fee for Kuwaiti citizens?
- The 5-year multiple entry e-Tourist Visa costs $80. A 30-day single entry visa is $25, and a 1-year multiple entry visa is $40. Payment is made online during the application.
- How long can I stay in India on a tourist visa?
- With the e-Tourist Visa, you can stay up to 90 days per visit. The 5-year visa allows multiple entries during its validity period, but each stay is limited to 90 days.
- Do I need to provide biometrics for an India visa?
- For e-Visa holders, biometric data (fingerprints) is collected upon arrival at the Indian airport. No prior visit to an embassy or visa center is required.
- Which Indian airports accept e-Visa entry?
- Kuwaiti e-Visa holders can enter through 28 designated airports including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kochi, plus 5 seaports.
