How long can I stay in Egypt on an e-Visa?
The Egypt e-Visa allows a maximum stay of 30 days from the date of entry. The visa remains valid for 3 months from the date of approval, so you must enter Egypt within this period.
Can I work on an Egypt tourist e-Visa?
No, the tourist e-Visa is strictly for tourism purposes including sightseeing, visiting friends and family, or attending events. Working is not permitted.
How long does Egypt e-Visa processing take?
Most applications are processed within 1–7 business days. Many applicants receive approval within 4 working days. Apply at least 7 days before your travel date to be safe.
What is the Egypt e-Visa fee for Mexicans in 2025?
The single entry e-Visa costs US$25, allowing one entry and stay of up to 30 days. The multiple entry e-Visa costs US$60, allowing multiple entries within the 3-month validity period.
Do I need to print my e-Visa?
Yes, it is recommended to print a copy of your approved e-Visa to present at immigration upon arrival. Having a digital copy on your phone as backup is also advisable.
Can I extend my Egypt e-Visa?
Yes, you can apply for an extension at the Egyptian Immigration Authority office before your 30-day stay expires. Extensions require valid reasons and additional documentation.
